Hi From Opie (Odie)!

It’s been a little over a year. He’s been the most awesome friend. He’s quiet, gentle and kind to everyone. Opie’s been thru a lot, from being starved nearly to death coming to my home to foster for rehab to where we are today.

Opie has end stage heart disease, severe arthritis in his spine and hips. Dr Sara gives him weeks to months. It’s been 6 weeks since diagnosis and it was devastating. But Opie lived his best life in the last year. Festivals, walks in parks, car rides, treats and his favorite a monthly spa day with Amy at the groom room in Lebanon.

For whatever time Opie has know that he will be loved thru every last minute.
